MELT

As her body begins to melt in a warming world, M. becomes stranger to herself—mirroring a society dissolving under climate and migration crises, where identity, borders and belonging lose their shape.

M. is the first to begin melting, unable to tolerate the rising temperature. She sticks to furniture and people, yet cannot bear human warmth and closeness. In the background, tiny immigrants— invisible to the city’s other inhabitants — arrive silently and fill the cracks in society, trying to adapt. At the same time, M.’s crisis intensifies, turning her into an immigrant first within her own body, and then within her own home and city. If she wants to stay, she must be regulated: she arrives at a migration office full of paper-pushing bureaucrats and absurd rules. Her melting body conveys the phenomenon — the official, previously perfectly composed, also begins to melt. The order of the scenes does not follow a linear progression. The narrative is guided by the voice of the narrator, M., and functions like a poem, a diary, a series of reflections. At times it stands in counterpoint to the image; at others, it complements it and gives it new meaning.

Didi and the Magical Garden

Didi i Magiczny Ogród

An animated series about neurodiversity. It shows the world through the eyes of little Didi in a magical garden full of colorful, creatures that help her face the challenges of everyday life.

Atypical is beautiful. This slogan was used by parents of neurodiverse children to address us, along with the question: why there's no series about our children? About children with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia. After all, this is an increasingly visible element of our reality, especially among the youngest. As producers of films for children, we decided to take up the subject. At the same time, we decided that we would try to create a series about neurodiversity, but for all children from a selected age group (3-6 years old). An animation that will draw attention to a number of behaviors that can be considered atypical and the challenges that atypical children face. At the same time, we will show that there is a place on earth for every young child and that all apparent deficits can be dealt with – also with the help of others . Our heroine is little Didi . Her world: a magical garden at the back of the house.

Spotlight

Spotlight

Obsessed with the stage light, a moth enters a jazz club, but the music begins to pull it off course. It's faced with an unexpected sense of purpose and a choice: to keep resisting or surrender.

In 1960s Łódź, Poland, a small moth is drawn to the warm glow of a tenement window but crashes and falls into a puddle. Drenched and unable to fly, it crawls into a smoky jazz club, where a bright bulb above the stage becomes its new obsession. As it chases the light, the moth is swept into the wild rhythm of a jam session — bounced between instruments, sucked into a saxophone, nearly drowned in a drink. The music consumes it: glowing colors, vibrating shapes, and pulsing sounds blur its sense of direction. Torn between instinct and the magnetic pull of rhythm, the moth climbs a double bass toward the bulb—just as it goes out. Darkness falls, yet the melody glows on. At first terrified, the moth resists, trembling in confusion, but slowly surrenders, letting rhythm and color envelop it. United with the sound, it no longer seeks the bulb; it becomes part of the performance—alive, radiant, and free.

Director’s statement
The idea came naturally—I've been tied to music since childhood, perceiving sounds as colors and shapes. Animation lets me express that. After quitting music school, I tried to leave music behind, feeling unsafe and disconnected there. Yet my love for sound never left; it was always about how it spoke to me. Reclaiming music as my own turned it into strength, shaping how I animate and tell stories. The moth became my metaphor—drawn to what it resists, finding meaning in surrender. I'm inspired by 1960s–70s Polish jazz (Komeda, Trzaskowski) and the animations of Lenica and Giersz, when artists and musicians shared a spirit of improvisation. Łódź, my hometown, once pulsed with underground jazz and pioneering animation. While studying in the Netherlands, I met artists who now collaborate on this project. Our shared musical journey, fueled by a jazz KOSMOS quintet's improvisation, continues to shape the film's rhythm.

Freddie Little Chopin

Frycek Mały Chopin

Freddie – Little Chopin is a show about the joy of musical play and about the wonder of our world as a musical playground.

Freddie, lovingly called "Little Chopin," is an adventurous boy with a passion for music and an extraordinary gift: the power to transport others into the magical world of sound. With his messy mop of hair and boundless curiosity, Freddie lives in Warsaw alongside his spirited little sister Emily. Sharing more than just a name with the great Fryderyk Chopin, Freddie's talent and imagination set him apart. Together with Emily, his best friend Tytus, and a mysterious cat named Caramel, Freddie embarks on whimsical journeys through the realms of musical imagination, proving that life with music is full of joy, wonder, and endless creativity.

Director’s statement
Freddie is blessed with a relentlessly curious and powerful musical imagination. To Freddie, the ROOOAR of a motorcycle is as beautiful as the elegant hum of a violin, and the VOOOM of a vacuum cleaner is as magical as the majestic parp of a trumpet. Freddie's passion for play is almost as strong as his passion for sound and music.
The series' goal is to map the music world for kids offering not just a guidebook but a playbook! It focuses on creating engaging play patterns that bring musical phenomena to life, making music fun, interactive, and inspiring.
The animation style balances two captivating worlds. In the realistic setting, the visuals are light, witty, and vibrant, with playful colors and contour drawings that emphasize fun. When stepping into the world of imagination—capturing the awe and wonder that music inspires—the style transforms into artistic, hand-drawn animation, creating a dreamlike and expressive visual experience.

Near the Water

Біля води

A creative girl, Nutka solves problems in an uncreative environment through music. She finds value in the fact that she looks different from the townspeople – having arms and legs in the form of notes

Notka is the main character of the cartoon, she is a creative musical person, there are notes on the ends of her arms and legs. However, she works at a non-creative job in an office. She is kind, naive, often shy and lonely. When she sees that someone is in trouble, she always tries to help them. Her main essence is that she helps by creating music. Notka reconciled two quarreling lovers in a bakery through music Notka helped sailor, who lost her dog, find her by whistling a familiar melody. The main character limits the conflict of people crowding, hiding from the rain, with the help of songs. Notka receives a prediction that she will meet her love near the water. Notka meets a drummer and falls in love with him, but he is not near the water, but photographs are near the sea.

Director’s statement
The old love for simple cartoons, where black on white, where the essence comes first than the beauty of the image – all this gave birth to the idea to make a film with good content, but with such kind of simplicity. Later, Notes appeared on a whiteboard. And why the note? Because six years of work at the Kyiv Jazz Theater, 3 musicals with a jazz orchestra could not fail to influence. The main character Note is not very different from the inhabitants of her city, but she has unusual endings – notes. This is such a small feature that distinguishes a creative person visually. Through the life of the main character, there is shown the moment when routine work is diluted with creativity, how a creative person who has to work at an uninteresting job feels.
What a heroine in itself: she is a dreamer, not pretty enough, by nature she is naive as a child, but she is very diligent, like an excellent student at school, so she manages to do office work, as well as wake up early every day to get

I’m Not Nearly Cool Yet

I'm Not Nearly Cool Yet

Captured by Soviet ghosts, a Slavic Firebird breaks free and becomes Ania, a fiery teen in 90s Ukraine, who burns with every kiss and fights a crumbling legacy desperate to steal her spark.

A Slavic Firebird, captured by Soviet ghosts, breaks free and finds herself as Ania—a fiery teen living in a Ukrainian town in the 90s. As she struggles to navigate love and desire against all odds, every passionate encounter sets her ablaze, pulling her closer to a predestined rebirth. Haunted by captors desperate to steal her spark and revive their crumbling myths, Ania moves through village houses, underground clubs, and football matches, crossing the raw, awkward terrain of self-discovery. As she battles for her freedom, the past tightens its grip, threatening to consume her—but from the ashes of old worlds, a new future is rising.

Director’s statement
The idea for this film comes from my personal experience of growing up as a closeted queer person in Ukraine during the '90s. The starting points and major inspiration for the short are two queer archives: one from my hometown, Mykolaiv, which I gathered in collaboration with community members, and another—the Ukrainian Lesbian Archive, created by journalist Kateryna Farbar. The story of the film is fictional, but it serves as a lens through which to view the collective experience of Ukrainian queers trying to fight the ghosts of the political past, which painfully resonates with today's reality.

Fell a Tree Burn a House Slay a Son

Zetnij Drzewo Spal Dom Zabij Syna

"Know yourselves – be infertile and let the earth be silent after ye"

In a world where myth intertwines with philosophy and divine narrative takes the form of parable, a new cosmogony is born — raw, beautiful, and riddled with questions. This animated tale of creation follows a God who, upon beholding Her own reflection in Her creation, is struck by doubt. It is a tribute to Peter Wessel Zapffe’s essay The Last Messiah, an antinatalist meditation on existence, a Buddhist lament wrapped in the structure of a Christian sermon. Film explores the unbearable weight of consciousness and self-awareness. Rather than offering answers, it leaves the viewer with a deep, gnawing unease — and a silence in which to find their own meaning. This is not a story of salvation, but of recognition: of what we are, and what it may mean to be made in the image of something that cannot bear to behold humanity.

Director’s statement
Cut down a tree, burn down a house, kill a son—a grim, philosophical tale about the nature of divine creation and the role of humans in nature. Who are we and where are we headed? Do we possess more of God's perfect work within us, or are we merely parasites born out of His greatest mistake?

Until Death Unites Us

Póki śmierć nas nie połączy

When a weary Lady Death makes a cardinal mistake in the art of soul reaping, she is forced to remain on Earth to fix it. Along the way, she discovers the delights of mortal life: the ecstasy of a holiday crush, the bittersweet charm of a broken heart, and the sting of second-degree sunburn.

Lady Death is dying of boredom at work. After accidentally turning Grandfather George into a “Stuck Soul,” she must stay on Earth to help him finish his life mission. Living with his eccentric family — a spiritual dog, gothic teen Nikoleta, and fitness-obsessed Vita — she decides to explore human life and experience summer love. Instead of romance, she finds ghosting, sunburns, and beach days. But through it all, she discovers something greater: a deep love for living. She gives up immortality to live as a human — short, messy, but real. But, for Lada Death, it seems that the most interesting part of life is… love. So she decides: she wants to experience real summer romance. But finding love is not easy, and instead of being loved, she is being ghosted. Luckily, she discovers other parts of life, like enjoying all day on the beach or suffering from sunburn. Finally, she doesn’t find a romantic partner, but she finds something better — deep love for living. So she decides to give up her job, her immortality, and chooses to live as a human — a short life, maybe, but full of heartbreaks, sunburns, and a cute yoga teacher.

Director’s statement
The idea for the feature animation about Lady Death comes from a short film, “I Am Not Here Anymore”, which I made in 2023, after the death of my grandfather. In my experience, it was not simply a sad and hysterical process. My grandfather was one kind character, and even when he was dying, thanks to his famous honesty and humor, he provided us with moments of laughter. His last big laugh was when he peed in the bed, and my father accidentally sat on it. Probably, I inherited sophisticated humor after him.
But, except for the silly laughter, my bigger lesson was understanding that even absolutely sad moments can include beauty and love for living. And that life can be much fuller when we decide to embrace all kinds of experiences - including being vulnerable and honest with our feelings. Therefore, I decided to explore the topic of living one’s life in all its colours in a longer form – a feature animation about Lady Death.
As Natalia was the author of the character design for my short, we had a chance to find out that we share a similar sense of humor and visual taste. Therefore, we decided to develop this concept together. While working on our story, we gradually understood that the image that moves us the most is a person who is too scared to live her life fully. And that’s the case of Lady Death.
The fact that she is a character from another reality, unfamiliar with the rules governing life on Earth, allows us to create many humorous situations — from awkward attempts at experiencing a holiday romance to getting back pain after sleeping in a tent. It also allows us to ask all those ponderous questions, like - „What kind of life is worth dying for?”. We're not sure about the answer, but based on Lady Death's experiences, it seems that the one full of creepy teenagers, drug addicted dogs, and emotionally twisted adults is worth sacrificing your immortality!

Until Death Do Us Part

PÓKI ŚMIERĆ NAS NIE ROZŁĄCZY

Dreaming of love and adventure, Lady Death falls for the smell of a deceased Grandfather's feet. Instead of taking the dead man to the afterlife, she resides with him and his Family, hoping for affection.

Lady Death has been practicing her profession for ages and is bored. Between assignments of cutting souls, she binge-watches love series, dreaming of real affection. Her life changes when she falls for the scent of a dead Grandfather’s feet, whom she should escort to the afterlife. Instead, Death makes a deal with the Family: she won’t take him if they let her stay. She hopes to win his heart, though it still belongs to his deceased wife. Living with the Family proves difficult. The World of the Living is full of rules beyond her understanding, and her soap opera knowledge isn’t enough. The Malfunction Family also has its struggles: Mom still seeks approval from her critical Father while feeling she’s failing her teenage daughter, Nicoleta. In this strained arrangement, Lady Death and the Family try to make the most of Grandpa's time on Earth, but their efforts often fall short.

The Blaze

The Blaze

In our deep past humanity is a step away from being wiped out, leaving little more than some footprints in the volcanic sands. A few survived and the rest is history.

Africa, 140,000 years ago. After 100,000 years of relentless drought the human race is brought to its knees, with only a few tribes holding out across the continent, most of whom live in the volatile great Rift Valley. Then a volcano erupts over vast tracts of the valley, raining down ash far beyond and even hiding the sun from view. The human race is almost wiped out. A few survive and became the ancestors to us all. The Blaze plots the desperate yet inspiring journey of the few who banded together and used wits, teamwork and belief to allow our story to keep being told.

Director’s statement
I’ve watched so many far-fetched Hollywood disaster movies about disasters that threaten humanity; so many post-apocalyptic far-fetched films and TV series where tiny populations hang on in the shadows of some monster that now dominates the world, and yet something very similar actually happened to us, the ultimate human apocalypse, where we were a hair’s breadth from being wiped out, and homo sapiens were very nearly nothing but a few footprints in the volcanic sand, without even an antelope ever being scratched onto a single rock. I want to tell this story. I’ve been working with academics from the Universities of Liverpool, Cambridge, Sydney, Wroclaw and the National Museums of Kenya and Australia to construct the epic story of how we survived an apocalypse.

Tiny Fox and Great Boar

Mały Lisek i Wielki Dzik

They are like fire and water – Little Fox, and Big Boar – together they will discover the world, share crazy adventures and find peace in not always so peacful world.

The main characters are Fox and Boar, two friends who live on a hill under a sprawling apple tree. The hill is surrounded by a forest, which is home to a group of familiar animals: squirrels, mice, owls, and beavers. The series will be characterized by immersing the characters in adventures and challenges that are appealing to the viewer while conveying serious content such as what constitutes true friendship, the importance of empathy, and how to take care of one's own boundaries so as not to hurt others. The characters of the series become the carriers of this content, teaching viewers how they can cope with a given situation, and we allow the viewer to experience certain events and draw their own conclusions. We would like the viewers of "Little Fox and Big Boar" to grow up to be sensitive people who value friendship and relationships, but also to have a sense of humor.

Director’s statement
"Tiny Fox and Great Boar" is a combination of a fairy tale story with a philosophical view of the world.
The series, using specific symbolism and metaphors while dressing the story in an animal costume. Can tell stories about the need to express emotions, to be curious and empathetic towards the novel and the unknown. About trying to discover who we actually are. To try to make sense of the experiences we have walking along the winding path of life and how we treat ourselves and others on this adventure.
Children intuitively decipher the messages encapsulated in fairy tales. They can not only identify good and bad characters but also draw important lessons from them. Empathy, understanding, and a clear view of injustice are the lessons one learns from exposure to these parables.

Basia and a Doggy Summer

Basia i lato pod psem

Basia travels to a tent camp by the Baltic seaside for her summer vacation, where she meets a brave dog. With his help, she starts a search party for a mistreated pup, catches a local villain, and discovers that the best vacations might be the ones during which nothing goes to plan.

Five-year-old Basia dreams of having a dog, but her parents always say no. Family goes together for summer vacation to the seaside. On a rainy camping trip, she witnesses a stranger hit a dog and speed away. Later, she bonds with Azor, the campsite dog, and takes care of him when the caretaker leaves. One morning, Azor disappears, leaving Basia worried. But he soon returns, urging her into the woods. They discover the dog from the parking lot, tied to a tree. Basia calls for help, and the police catch the villain. Basia’s summer ends happily, with Azor, the rescued dog Little Black, and a new hope that maybe her parents will let her have a dog someday.

Director’s statement
"Basia and the Summer with a Dog" is a film about the summer adventure of five-year-old Basia, who goes on a trip with her family to the Polish seaside. Initially expecting the worst vacation ever, Basia experiences an unforgettable adventure by helping to rescue a stray dog. During the summer, she learns how to be a responsible dog caretaker, discovers joy in small things, and makes new friends. It’s a story of transformation that everyone goes through when they leave behind their daily routines during a vacation and return home as a better version of themselves. The film aims to evoke memories of summer on cold, gray days and to awaken a longing for the freedom of holidays, the sea breeze, and adventures that sweep us away. The project of this film is based on very popular BASIA book series published by Harper Collins. We have also produced 26 x 11’ animated series and planning to deliver next 26 episodes within couple of years.
