The conference will focus on two main topics: Green Animation and Co-Development Fund.
Dear participants, welcome to the CEE Animation Conference GO! 2025, welcome to Nova Gorica – Gorizia, the European Capital of Culture!
Two working groups
Green Animation
Co-Development Fund
Green Animation
The Green Animation working group demonstrates the animation industry’s commitment to sustainability and its goal to establish European standards for environmentally friendly practices.
Co-Development Fund
The aim of the working group is to explore the possibilities for creating a new international, regional or European framework to support animated film projects in the development phase, where international collaborations and co-development of projects are already established.
Attendees
Main participants of the conference are film fund representatives and representatives of producer’s associations, who come from around 20 European countries, and other guests include members of the CEE Animation Workshop 2025 and REACT Animation Lab training programs. In total, over 100 animation professionals and creators will attend, providing an exceptional opportunity for networking and knowledge exchange.
Venue
Vila Vipolže
Address: Vipolže 29, Dobrovo v Brdih, Slovenia
This Renaissance villa reflects the history of life at the crossroads of three worlds and cultures. Originally the hunting lodge of the Counts of Gorizia, it was later owned by the noble families of Herberstein, Della Torre, Attems and Teuffenbach. The Venetians transformed the mansion into an elegant rectangular villa with two columns. It served its owners as a summer residence with a green park. In front of the villa, centuries-old cypress trees, the oldest in Slovenia, still climb into the sky. In addition to the magnificent first floor with its modern halls, which has retained the name Piano Nobile, Vila Vipolže boasts a café, a restaurant with a vaulted wine cellar, a state-of-the-art kitchen and a banquet room.

The event is co-organized by CEE Animation, the leading animation initiative in this part of Europe and the Slovene Animated Film Association and in partnership with Animar_BCN European Animation Convention (PROA-ProAnimats) and Animation in Europe.
