Maria Görlich-Opyd

Director, screenwriter, and author of animated films. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, Faculty of Graphic Arts. In her work, she combines visual sensitivity with emotional realism and subtle humor. She is fascinated by the child’s point of view — the way children perceive the world, learn courage, trust, and empathy. Her films are characterized by a poetic visual language inspired by nature and the rhythm of everyday life.
