Nawojka Wierzbowska graduated from Katowice's Movie School. She studied for one semester at Transforming Art Institute in Madrid. She was awarded the Scholarship of Cultura City Gdańsk (three times), Pomeranian District Scholarship, and the Scholarship "Young Poland" from the Polish Ministry of Culture. Her diploma movie "Bad night story" was selected at the most important Polish movie festivals such as Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, Festival of Film Debuts in Koszalin.
