The CEE Animation Workshop is tailor-made to suit the needs of producers and their creative teams with animated projects of any format (shorts, TV, feature-length, hybrid, XR) in development and is also open to a limited number of career-oriented participants, joining the workshop without a project and seeking to build a long-term strategy for their company. The program is led by renowned producers and animation script consultants in the roles of group leaders, who closely follow and mentor projects for the duration of the program.

The 2025 edition of the CEE Animation Workshop will consist of 4 one week modules; 2 modules will be held online and 2 modules will be organized on-site. The participants will also be invited to attend the CEE Animation Forum 2025.

During the training, participants with a project focus on the script, visuals and production package development. They have the opportunity to advance their scripts, train in the art of pitching and get access to inspirational lectures by acclaimed professionals and detailed case studies of successful projects. Producers can gain resourceful knowledge on financial and creative aspects of animation production, deepen their knowledge in areas such as co-productions, animation production management, financing and budgeting, company strategy development, legal aspects of production, marketing, festival strategies and even negotiation and conflict resolution. The career-oriented participants who join the workshop as professionals without a project, are invited to join one of the project teams as shadow producers and fully engage in all the activities of the training.

The Workshop finishes with the final presentation of a full production package and pitch to a carefully selected group of industry players, such as representatives of funding bodies, broadcasters, producers,festival programmers, sales agents and distributors in the format of one-on-one meetings. After the completion of the CEE Animation Workshop, participants can take advantage of the CEE Animation network and gain privileged access to various international industry and market events.

The workshop is intended for teams with a project in development (producer and a scriptwriter with an animated project of any format in development: short film, feature-length film, TV series, TV special, documentary of fiction, hybrid projects of XR projects) and for producers without a project working in the field of animation.

The participation fee for the access to all four modules of the program, online script consultancy sessions, accommodation and meals (in case of a residential Workshop module), attendance of the CEE Animation Forum 2025 is:

• For two (optionally three) participants with a project in development: 3,500.00 EUR
  + Conference fee of 300.00 EUR for each onsite module per team member
• For one participant without a project: 2,500.00 EUR
  + Conference fee of 300.00 EUR for each onsite module

CEE Animation Workshop also offers a limited number of scholarships. Scholarships are awarded with preference to participants coming from low production capacity countries Group B.
