Phil Parker

Phil Parker is one of leading European content development consultants – his productions include Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit & Terry Prachett's Hogfather. He has worked with C4, BBC, and Aardman animation in the UK, ifs, Nord Media and Berlin Medianboard in Germany as well as Visegrad Forum, and several independent companies throughout Europe. He wrote animated features Hockey King and Gentle Jacko and co-wrote Manou. He developed the multi-award winning Pearce Sisters in 2008, and Bach In Brazil, a live-action German/Brazilian feature in 2016. He founded the UK's most successful screenwriting course, and graduates went on to win several BAFTA's, a Palme D'Or and Oscar nominations. In 2000, he set up the UK Film Council’s development training programme and supervised five PhDs to completion including two award-winning screenplays. He has authored the ‘Art and Science of Screenwriting’. He is currently working on projects from Brazil, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia, and the UK. Phil is also co-founder of BCre8ive, an online content development network and consultation body.
