Sunday Rebel Films is a recently established production house in Latvia, focusing on the production of high-quality international co-production projects - feature films, TV series, animation films, and music videos. We are developing our own projects as well as we are open to minority co-productions. We like to focus on arthouse films that deal with strong social issues and feature strong visual cinematography. Also, we are providing production services for foreign film projects.

The studio was founded shortly before the COVID-19 crisis in 2019 by art historian Sniedze Kāle as a family-based studio. Creatively led by director and screenwriter Kārlis Vītols. Committed to artistic freedom and supporting emerging talent, the studio is currently producing Vītols’ animated feature The Northern Star and Ella Mežule’s debut short The Nature of Tide. Studio’s focus lies in family-friendly films that celebrate cultural and historical diversity, paired with a unique and sophisticated visual style. Specializing in 2D animation and surrounded by experienced animators, our studio is a great fit for artistic co-production projects.

Atom Art is an award-winning animation studio established in 2001 in Riga, Latvia.
