Mikrofilm is a production company in Oslo, specializing in 2D animation. Mikrofilm is auteur-oriented, producing films with a strong artistic fingerprint since 1996. Mikrofilm has produced 30+ independent shorts, including Oscar winning The Danish Poet (Torill Kove 2006) and had films screened at festivals such as Toronto, Berlin, Annecy, Clermont-Ferrand, Sundance. Mikrofilm is internationally oriented, co-producing with Canada, the Nordics, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
