TOLO&BOLO

Tolo i Bolo

Modern 2d animated series about two brothers and their adventures in a big city

6-year-old Tolo and 9-year-old Bolo have opposing characters, which are the source of their adventures and conflicts, but in this series each episode ends happily. In their everyday life, Mamee is always close - a warm, understanding mother who has a lot of patience, prepares meals for them and takes care of their shared home. Sometimes, care is taken over by Mamees' parents, Grandpa Bogdan and Grandma Ala, but also by friends of the cheerful trio - Grandma Rees, Andrew - Mamees' partner and teachers from kindergarten and school. During their adventures, they are also accompanied by the dog Sprat - a friendly mutt who takes care of their safety. The boys' closest friends are Apple and Cherry - called The Fruitcakes for short. They are charming twins, Bolo's classmates. Kris - an egoistic admirer of new gadgets, who does not like the main characters of the series, often stands in the way of the Nosek brothers.

Director’s statement
The animated series "Tolo&Bolo" draws from the world that young readers have fallen in love with while reading Agata Romaniuk's books. The success of her child's stories is probably the best possible reference and allows us to assume that the series will repeat the success. At the same time, based on the author's world, we create completely new, original stories, captivating the characters, and with them the viewers, into the world of adventure cinema, taking place in Warsaw - the city-archetype. All this is presented in a warm, funny atmosphere of closeness, in a modern and visually attractive form.
What distinguishes "Tolo&Bolo" is its modernity and setting in the contemporary world. In the film, we will use dynamic camera movements, we will use a film language that is attractive to young viewers, born and raised in the 21st century, in a digital reality.
