Nature’s Creatures’ nature

Nature's Creatures' nature

A seven-year-old boy naturalist's scientific observations of the fantastic creatures in his family’s garden.

William is a seven-year-old naturalist. Every day, he takes his explorer's kit and goes down to the vast, wild garden of their house to investigate the wildlife there from a highly scientific point of view. He keeps a record of his observations in notebooks, classifying the species, their body structure, their behaviour (for example, how high they jump when they see a mirror), their habits of all kinds (are they pine cone walkers or raindrop collectors), their individual and group life (do they walk in circles or grow to music?). But William is not interested only in squirrels and beetles, but in the magical creatures that live in the grass and trees and appear only to him. Especially after rain.

Director’s statement
This series invites viewers into a world where reflection, slowing down, and observation are valued. Designed for children, young parents, and grandparents, it reinforces sustainability through a humorous, gentle tone, completely avoiding didacticism. Visually, it blends live-action with spectacular 2D animation to stand out in today's crowded media landscape.
As virtual content replaces real-world exploration, my mission is to reawaken the joy of physical discovery. By teaching respect for our biosphere, we counter environmental exploitation and raise a conscious generation.
Instead of being depressing, each episode frames nature as an inspiring adventure and a peaceful safe haven. 2D animation brings the magical creatures hidden under leaves to life, making miracles leap off the screen. Blending live-action and animation is a proven formula for global appeal, championed here by a director whose character designs already command massive digital popularity.
