Little Big Ones

Little Big Ones

Little Big Ones is a series of 26 stories about children who challenge adversity, confront broken systems, and prove that courage and hope can change the world.

"Little Big Ones is a series of 26 stories about children who choose to stand up against adversity, the world around them, and the systems that seek to silence them. These stories are inspiring, powerful, and deeply necessary—perhaps now more than ever. Across different corners of the world, we follow young people whose courage transforms not only their own lives, but also the communities around them. They fight for nature, human rights, equality, dignity, and freedom. They confront bullying, discrimination, drugs, violence, war, oppression, and intolerance with a strength far beyond their years. Some are natural-born leaders; others are quiet, ordinary children who simply refuse to look away. Yet all of them share the same belief: that one person can make a difference, and that even the smallest act of courage can create change. Little Big Ones is ultimately a celebration of the power of the individual—and of the hope we too often lose as we grow older."

Director’s statement
As a child, I dreamed of doing something great. First, I wanted to become a dancer, later an artist and animator who could change the world through ideas and imagery. Creating stories for children was the last thing I imagined myself doing.

But over time, and especially after becoming a mother, my perspective changed completely. I realized that if we truly want to change the world, we must speak to children, inspire them, encourage them, and treat them with respect.

When I was younger, I believed humanity naturally moved toward justice, peace, freedom, and compassion. Today, I understand that progress is never guaranteed. The future depends entirely on us, on the values we choose to defend.

That is why Little Big Ones matters so deeply to me: it is a project about hope, courage, and the belief that even the smallest voice can help change the world.
