Christmas in the Boonies

Peetrikese jõulud

Peter must stop the dreadful Robo-Santa, or Christmas will be ruined forever!

It's Christmas Eve, and Peter is itching to hit the countryside and claim his gifts from Santa. But upon arrival, he's shocked to find that a sinister Robi-Santa has replaced the real Santa Claus, scheming to ruin the holidays. To complicate matters, Gerda opens a gateway to the Frog Kingdom, abandoning her friends at their most critical moment. Now, Peter and his crew must confront and defeat this mechanical impostor, or Christmas is doomed forever!

Director’s statement
A true Christmas story with songs and excitement spiced up with plenty of mischievous and kind-hearted humor sure to crack up the whole family – this is the film we would like to create!

Take it as "Stranger Things" meets "Neverending Story" in an absurdist slapstick comedy enjoyable for the whole family. Just as the surreal "Upside Down" exists parallel to the town of "Hawking"; hidden within the countryside, invisible to the tarnished eye, lies the fantastical other-world called the "boonies". The plot of the film is driven by a group of friends exploring this rural outcountry, with a good nose for strange places and spooky entities. The eclectic group of young cohorts have unique traits which can either be helpful or hilariously detrimental to completing their quest in the boonies.
