How to Get Your Kids’ Project Commissioned by CEE National Broadcasters
In this webinar, you’ll gain unique insights into the commissioning practices of three selected public broadcasters from Central and Eastern Europe. Michaela Sabolčáková (Slovak TV and Radio) will open the session with an overview of current trends in children’s content creation, audience preferences, and distribution platforms — from traditional TV to streaming services. She will also discuss licensing processes, content selection criteria, and the growing importance of building strong IP brands in the kids’ segment. Her presentation will be followed by country-specific contributions from Martina Peštaj (RTV Slovenia) and Tiivi Tüür (ERR Estonia), highlighting local commissioning practices and particular market conditions. The session will conclude with an open discussion and Q&A.
This session is financially supported by Creative Europe MEDIA and co-financed by the governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
