Tina Smrekar

Tina Smrekar is an animation producer, focusing on cutting-edge author driven animation with an analogue touch. Co-founder of and producer at Finta Film.

Their films were screened at major festivals - Berlinale, Locarno, Sundance, among them COSMONAUTS (Leo Černic), STEAKHOUSE, NIGHTHAWK (Špela Čadež), THREE BIRDS (Zarja Menart), MONEY & HAPINESS (Ana Nedeljković & Nikola Majdak, co-production) receiving more than 100 awards, including a number of festival Grand Prixs and a Jury Award in Annecy. Tina is also helping young talents develop across media within University of Nova Gorica School of Arts. Current president of the Slovenian Animated Film Association. Supervisory board member of Slovenian audiovisual collecting society.
