Margrethe Danielsen is a Norwegian filmmaker, based in Volda. She has a bachelor’s degree in pre-school education from Queen Maud’s University College, a bachelor’s degree in animation and a master’s degree in media practices, both from Volda University College. She has worked as a stop-motion artist in Estonia, Ireland, Belgium, France, and Norway. After the award-winning student film Pearl Diver (2020), Bear Hug (2021) was her professional directorial debut.
