Marek Náprstek is a Czech film director and animator. He was born in 1987, studied English and French at Charles University in Prague and animation at FAMU. His graduation films The More I Know (2015) and Ant Hill (2020) were screened internationally and received several prizes, the most recent of which was special mention for Ant Hill at Animafest Zagreb 2021. Marek likes to read, run and play the ukulele, he lives and works in Prague with his wife and two children.
