The Beach is a surreal comedy about a bizarre love triangle unfolding over the course of a summer afternoon by the sea. Bob tries to win Eva’s affection, but she longs for Dan—a fragile, wandering soul absentmindedly tracing patterns in the sand with a stick. As a storm approaches, the tensions between the characters intensify. What begins as calm and innocent gradually distorts, until the boundaries between reality, dream, and the characters themselves completely dissolve.
