Two defiant sighthounds spark a rebellion in the dangerous world of dog racing and coursing.
Sighthounds are traditionally bred for coursing and racing, but many who don’t meet expectations often face abandonment, death or torture. Overbreeding worsens the problem, creating countless victims. Fortunately, rescue organizations work to save and rehome these dogs. Our story follows two sighthound friends, a timid Greyhound and a brave Galgo, as they join a vast pack on a grueling chase. As dogs collapse from injury and exhaustion, the Dog Owner punishes the weak. Desperate to help, our protagonists howl for aid, but their cries are silenced by the ruthless Owner. The pack dwindles until only Greyhound and an injured Galgo remain, standing atop the Mountain of Death – a mass grave of fallen sighthounds. In desperation, a previously shy Greyhound loudly howls from the mountain’s peak. The sound carries across the valley, awakening the injured and fallen dogs, who rise to join the call. Their united voices drive away the Dog Owner, allowing rescuers to finally step in and save them.
