Scope of the Universe

Scope of the Universe

Scope of the Universe is the first season of an ambitious animated series for teens about science and philosophy, taking us on a journey of discovery and wonder through the mysterious universe.

Before the first stars were lit, there was only a clouded darkness - The Dark Ages. This is a period we know very little about, but we know everything started here. This is the dawn of atoms, of the stars, galaxies, planets; And with these creations, our journey begins through time and observe the evolution of our solar system. We discover how busy and crowded space is. And in the middle of it all, what coincidence Earth and life on our planet really is. Our search brings us to the outer parts of the solar system, and the many moons of the big gas giants. Could this be where we finally discover that we are not alone? The space is filled with deep and dark secrets. Like the black holes; only detectable through the effect on their surroundings with immense gravity pulling everything into it. As the light slowly fades and everything goes black, there is still so much we don’t know. And perhaps the greatest mystery of all still remains - what happens, at the end of all things?
