MouMoush – The King of Plastic
MouMoush - The King of Plastic
Margo and Liam are two lively siblings who find themselves traveling through time and space, fighting supervillain MouMoush, the King of Plastic, a powerful man aiming for world domination.
After the release of Ruben Brandt in 2018, though, I revisited The Adventures of Liam Grant (my old idea for a TV series), looking at the adventures drawn and painted many years ago with new eyes. I found myself drawn into the story once more. A mixture of fairy-tale magic, environmental awareness, and, of course, my sense of humor– MouMoush, King of Plastic was born. The central theme of the film became the conflicts arising from the intertwining of nature and human civilization, possible resolutions to this conflict, and how seeing the world from the perspective of a child might help the world. I want to emulate the wonderful way that children imagine stories, and apply that to the world we live in today. Our protagonists, who, even as children, recognize evil and are not afraid to confront it, take action. To show kids that they have a role to play in this world and that they can find allies in adults, even when the odds are against them.
