Alert Little Eyes
Baczne Oczka
An educational adventure series for preschoolers following Ladybug Dottie and Snail Spinner as they explore the world and solve everyday challenges.
Alert Little Eyes is an engaging animated series created especially for the youngest viewers, including children with visual impairments, ADHD and other developmental needs. Gentle pacing, high-contrast design and simplified visuals make it a safe and charming entry point into audiovisual storytelling. In each episode, Ladybug Dottie and Snail Spinner explore the world, solve challenges and encourage children to join in through interactive narration and end-of-episode activities. Developed in consultation with specialists and supported by academic research, this unique series combines entertainment with perceptual development, attention training and positive emotional engagement.
Director’s statement
Alert Little Eyes is an animated series created for the youngest audiences, including children with visual impairments and attention deficit disorders. The project aims to support children's development and perception of the world while increasing the accessibility of audiovisual content for visually impaired viewers. Developed in collaboration with a typhlopedagogue, the series was carefully adapted to the needs of children with different levels of visual perception. Dialogues and character movements were refined through age-specific testing, while the narration and sound design were created to complement the visual layer and support comprehension. Through its universal themes, the series remains accessible and engaging for all children while offering meaningful inclusion for visually impaired audiences. The project is designed for both cinema and television distribution and may also serve as valuable support in therapeutic and educational work.
