Abracadabra

Abracadabra is a cosmic quest set in a space without gravity, a time without boundaries, and dimensions without limits. The story follows the evolving friendship between five unworldly travelers who meet in an interstellar bar after an asteroid destroys their home planet. Together, they embark upon unpredictable and weird adventures in the hope of finding the perfect place to settle down. Behind the absurdity lies a deeply human story that makes the characters relatable, likeable and surprisingly human.

Director’s statement
As a director, I thrive on creating funny, surreal worlds. Science fiction provides endless inspiration and a character-driven animated sitcom is the perfect vehicle for my vision. The animation toolbox allows to freely visualize absurd elements without technical limitations.
Abracadabra is the blueprint for this imaginative series. It is a cosmic comedy where anything can and does happen. However, amidst this gravitational and dimensional absurdity, the emotional logic remains grounded. While the universe is illogical, the relationships are deeply human. By keeping the emotional nodes intact, I ensure the audience stays connected to the heart of the story.
Visually, we blend the familiar with the bizarre. The anthropomorphic characters subvert expectations, generating both humor and a subtle, attractive curiosity. This project combines limitless surrealism with a proven, highly marketable sitcom format,making it a visually spectacular and emotionally resonant story.
