New Support for European Series. Are You Eligible?

The Council of Europe has dedicated support for series co-production, and animation is explicitly part of it. But who can apply, for what, and when?

The Council of Europe, home of Eurimages, runs a Pilot Programme for Series Co-Productions that supports international series in drama, documentary and animation. Producers meet it in two forms: co-production support of €150,000 or €300,000 towards production costs, and the Series Co-Production Development Award, worth €50,000 and hosted at this CEE Animation Forum for the first time. Clementine Trolong-Bailly will take you through both. Who is eligible, and which countries qualify? How much of your financing has to be confirmed before you apply? What does the programme look for in an animated series specifically? And when does the next call open and what should be on your desk by then?
