Petri Kemppinen

Petri Kemppinen is an independent film and TV consultant, working internationally with financing and development, policies and training. He founded P1 Kemppinen in early 2020, after close to 30 years of experience in journalism, publishing and the audiovisual sector.

Petri Kemppinen activated his company Good Hand Production in 2024. Before that he worked at Aurora Studios (2020-2023), and as CEO of Nordisk Film & TV Fond (2013-2019); there providing financing for more than 150 Nordic films and TV Series. He has worked previously at the Finnish Film Foundation and YLE. He holds an MA in communication and has a background as a journalist. Aside from producing, he works as an expert for the EAVE training program and is a member of the European Film Academy.
