Kolja Saksida received his master's degree in Film Studies from the ECAL University of Art and Design, Lausanne and works in the field of filmmaking as a director, producer and teacher.
He is one of the most prominent authors and producers of animated films in Slovenia. Kolja is an assistant professor at the Academy of Arts of the University of Nova Gorica and the founder and director of the ZVVIKS production house.
