Ivana Laučíková is the associate professor at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. She produced and directed several Slovak animated short films, including "The Last Bus" with numerous awards at major film festivals. She is also active in the field of animation screenwriting and film theory. In 2010, she founded and for four years was the editor-in-chief of Homo Felix, a professional journal on animated film.
