Helga Fodorean

Helga Fodorean is a cultural manager and film producer, formally trained as a scriptwriter, with a strong interest in animation.

She works primarily with Romanian and Hungarian artists, having co-produced on behalf of Safe Frame the multi-awarded short animation by Balázs Turai, Amok. In 2018 she joined Animest as a festival producer, and shortly after became the president of the Animest Association, where she acts as the financial director for all the projects developed year-round under the Animest umbrella. În 2021 she initiated SYAA, a mentorship program for women in animation.
