Carolina Bonzinho

Carolina Bonzinho is an animator and designer based in Porto. She graduated in Communication Design at FBAUP, passing through the Erasmus+ programme at MOME in Budapest. In the last couple of years she worked with BAP Animation Studio. Since 2020 she has animated and painted in films by directors such as Laura Gonçalves, Alexandra Ramires and Vitor Hugo Rocha. A project that also stands out in this period was the design of the book "ELO", a collaboration with the director Alexandra Ramires and the author Regina Guimarães. In recent years, she worked with the BEAST International Film Festival, in the 2021 and 2022 editions, where she created and developed the Website in partnership with the designer Marta Areosa. Currently she gives stop-motion workshops in local schools and invests in personal projects in the field of animation. Her latest published work was the co-direction and animation with Leander Meresaar of the music video "A Strange Feeling of Existential Angst" by Sunflowers.This project is produced by BAP Animations Studio - producers Alexandra Ramires, Laura Gonçalves, David Doutel and Vasco Sá.
