Anya Ryzhkova is an independent animation artist and filmmaker. She was born in Kaliningrad in 1998 and moved to Germany in 2007, growing up in Chemnitz. Since 2019, she has been studying Media Art and Design at Bauhaus University Weimar. From October 2021 to February 2023, she worked part-time at Traumhaus Studios in Erfurt. Since April 2023, she has been employed as a student assistant in the Animation department at Bauhaus University Weimar.
