KOMAWÉ is a production company specialising in volume and 2D animation, based in Nantes and Lyon. The company was founded in 2024 by writer and director Joachim HÉRISSÉ and producer Stéphanie LAUNAY. KOMAWÉ is a subsidiary of Komadoli studio. Firmly committed to an auteur policy, KOMAWÉ seeks out talent from around the world and produces films for cinema and television. KOMAWÉ is also involved in projects with a strong graphic bias. Ambitious, poetic, committed projects that reflect all the complexity and diversity of our society, with the aim of moving and questioning. And why not play a part in shaking things up? KOMAWÉ wants to be a production company committed to representing diversity, the questions that sometimes arise from it and, of course, its richness. Convinced of its share of responsibility, particularly with young audiences, in the creation of the imaginary worlds that fuel our representations, KOMAWÉ wants to show people in a different light and to break away from fixed or stereotyped iidentities.
