KG Productions was created in 1973 by Costa-Gavras and Michèle Ray-Gavras who is the producer there. She has been producing Costa-Gavras’ film as well as discovering new talents: Mehdi Charef, Tony Gatlif, Liria Bégéja, Jean Teulé, Laurent Herbiet et recently Salem Brahimi and Rihanna. In 1995 Michèle Ray Gavras was a member of the jury of the 48th Cannes Films Festival under the presidency of the Jeanne Moreau.
