This is a story about two worlds, the world of the forest and the world of people, and of the kids in whom these two worlds intertwine.
Goldy (short for Goldilocks) is a wild girl that lives with animals. Very close to the edge of the forest, stands a mountain lodge. A lonely boy Howl (cro. Urlik), who longs for the city and a better internet connection, is spending his whole summer there. The two become friends despite the one rule that Goldy must follow - stay away from people.
