SH_T HAPPENS
The caretaker exhausted from everything, his frustrated wife and one totally depressed deer. Their mutual despair leads them to absurd events, because... shit happens all the time.
An apartment building full of self-centred inhabitants. Utterly exhausted caretaker and his sexually frustrated wife. Widowed deer drowning his sorrows in loads of alcohol... While trying to cope with their problems, they find themselves in a hard-to-solve triangle asking for absurd and irrational solutions. The consequences can easily become permanent, sometimes maybe too permanent. The film is a loose adaptation of a well-known biblical story while transforming it into a contemporary ironic narrative about how the world sometimes works.

Michaela Mihályi
Michaela Mihályi (1991, Slovakia) is currently studying animation at FAMU in Prague, where she lives as well. She previously studied animation at VŠMU in Bratislava. She has an interest in telling stories using various techniques, from hand-drawn, cut-out to puppet animation. Besides studying, she works as a freelance animation director and illustrator. She has a dog called Ela and loves beer and coffee equally.

David Štumpf
David Štumpf (1991, Slovakia) finished his BA studies at VŠMU in Bratislava with the film Cowboyland that has been selected for festivals in Annecy, Stuttgart and Hiroshima, and has won several awards at home and internationally. David now lives in Prague where he is finishing his MA degree at FAMU with the film SH_T HAPPENS. He also works as a freelance director and animator.
