ROOKIE ROBOT Explores the World

Rookie Robot Explores the World

ROOKIE ROBOT Explores the World is a preschool program for the youngest TV audience, a fun journey through first encounters and discoveries.

Robots also have to learn! And our little bot named ROOKIE likes nothing more than that. Curious, open and friendly he explores his world and meets new friends, discovers new things and experiences little adventures. The simple and charming stories entertain with wit, fun, joie de vivre – and a cheeky twist. But ROOKIE ROBOT Explores the World is more than just a fun cartoon – it also teaches important values like patience, perseverance and respect for all individuals as well as for our planet. In each episode Rookie learns a little more about the world around him and inspires young viewers to do the same. Rookie Robot stands out with a distinctive blend of retro charm and hand-drawn 2D animation, making it truly one-of-a-kind. All characters are based on original children‘s line drawings, making it relatable and easy for young viewers to connect. With no spoken words, Rookie‘s adventures are brought to life through visuals, music and sound design

Director’s statement
No words. Just see it, hear it – and feel It. In an ever faster spinning world there's so much talking and way too many words, so our Cartoon series ‘ROOKIE ROBOT Explores the World’ is a journey back to the roots of cartoon story telling: Simple pictures, simple stories, music and sound – and no words. There is one language that every child on this planet understands – no dubbing needed – and Rookies adventures are told in this very language. Our preschool program for the youngest wants to stimulate to explore and create life without fear or prejudice. Since Rookie was born in the year 2021, the little bot came a long way: He developed styles and functions, mimics and gestures – and he found lots of friends along the way – on screen and all around the world in real life. Season 3 is scheduled for completion and delivery in May 2026.
Made in Vienna with love.
