Napville

All is peace and quiet in Napville, a little town in the foothills. The local inhabitants, civilised woodland creatures, enjoy a life here that is tranquil and ordinary. Until, that is, a dinosaur shows up in town. Alma, a brave little wolverine, befriends him in and names him Kory. Kory’s arrival finally provides the spirited little girl with the buddy she’s been missing in her humdrum little town. And that can only mean one thing: the lives of all the citizens of Napville are about to be rattled. The dinosaur’s bluntness and unawareness of local customs results in lots of funny, poignant and suspenseful situations. The person who most objects to Kory’s presence is Alma’s neighbour, Earz the wolf. He is always trying to find reasons why the dinosaur should be forced out of town. His rifts with Alma and Kory are a thread running through the series to spur on their fun and adventures.

Director’s statement
Napville is going to be a hilarious, action driven and adventure packed TV series. My aim is to create a warm, colorful world and inhabit it with funny characters whose intentions often colide but at the end of the day they are able to find understanding for one another. The main trio of characters – Alma, Kory and Earz are a great source of drama. Alma wants to experience fun and adventure with her new friend Kory. Kory wants to fit into the world he does not know and is not a part of. And Earz wants everything to be as it was before the dinosaur arrived.
The audience we are aiming at are kids that are growing up to the need of accepting first real responsibilities. They are either the oldest in the kindergarten or the youngest at school. Life is not only about playing anymore but at the same time they are still kids. Alma is at that stage of her life and I believe she will make a great character for the audience to attach to.
