Hercules’ Rescue

Спасувањето на Херкул

At a time when people are dealing with calculating percentages and only some individuals and animals know about love and care, the heroes themselves need help too!

Hercules’ Rescue is a story based on a real event which happened in Croatia, when the citizens lost their favorite ship despite their protests. HERCULES, an old ship-crane, is anchored for repairs after his captain Peter survived a heart attacked and has been hospitalized. HELEN, Peter’ niece is very concerned about Peter’s health. Having no one else, he is everything to her. The seagull CAPTAIN lives on Hercules and while waiting for the overhaul, he constantly brags and tells things about Hercules heroic deeds. The time passes and some ships are being dragged into the hangar. The situation changes when Captain, the seagull, understands that LEOPOLD, an middle-aged oligarch who owns Hercules, changes his mind and decides to cut Hercules and sell it as scrap metal due to his criminal past. Peter is not here to help any more… Helen, Captain and their friends are facing personal and fundamental questions among each protagonist whether to leave Leopold to realize his intentions and allow Hercules who mirrors their pride and represents everything they want to have and want to be, to disappear before their eyes or to fight and save Hercules. So they decide to fight…
