ELi sees Victor on special occasions and in the summer, he usually comes for a few days with his mother, Pauline. But this year is different. Victor is alone with his grandfather in a house lost in the middle of the mountains and the forest. Not even wi-fi ! The prospect of this holiday is far from enchanting. But he discovers a grandfather who hides a wonderful secret behind his grumpy, taciturn demeanour. He turns out to be an empathetic man who will help Victor to overcome his frustrations and anger by offering him access to the magical world of the carp-moon …

Director’s statement
This film tells the story of a reconciliation between a grandfather, Ell, and his grandson, Victor. I chose to tell the story from Victor's point of view. It is thanks to him that the story evolves, as he encounters various obstacles that force him to question and to open up to his grandfather. His grandfather is like a loving and mysterious tutor, who listens attentively and is ready to help him in the very special initiation he is undertaking for his grandson.
This film will appeal to all family members, because the theme of transmission between generations is universal. I want to tell the story of two members of the same family who realise that they don't know each other very well.
For this rapprochement to have any chance of happening, Victor will have to will have to make an effort to communicate
