Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe!

En, ten, týky!

On a playground high above the clouds, the children of Greek gods play and struggle with their unique powers. In each episode, they learn how to embrace their differences and turn them into strengths.

Welcome to the playground in the sky – a magical world where the children of Greek gods and mythical creatures play among the clouds. Each of them has something that makes them unique – a shining head, uncontrollable wings, or a voice so powerful it shakes the ground. But these very traits often make it hard for them to fit in. In each 8-minute episode, we meet one of these children as they struggle with being different and try to find their place among their friends. Through playful adventures, they learn how to understand their emotions, work with their impulses, and discover the strength in being true to themselves. With a poetic tone and gentle humor, the series explores emotional growth, self-acceptance, and empathy. Visually, it draws inspiration from Ancient Greece – its frescoes, pottery, and mythology – reimagined through a playful and contemporary lens.

Director’s statement
My collaboration with producer Kristina Husová began with Sisters (Annecy premiere) and continued with the short Eeny, meeny, miny, moe! (currently in production), where a rich, emotional world began to unfold—one that called for more than just a single film. That’s how the idea of a series was born.
Aimed at children who feel different—wild, sensitive, or simply out of place—this series dives into their emotional landscapes through mythological kids like Yios, the sun-headed boy, or little Medusa. Each episode follows one character’s journey toward understanding their feelings and turning their “too much” into a gift.
Inspired by Greek mythology and Minoan art, the series features vibrant 2D animation with hand-drawn textures and ornamental detail. Music adds a human touch, combining playfulness and emotional depth.
This series is a tribute to children who feel like outsiders—offering not instructions, but stories full of wonder, emotion, and quiet strength.
