Director’s statement
The BORIBON animation series is based on a children’s book for toddlers. At this age, children are just beginning to learn about the world and have very little experience of it. For many of them, the series may be one of their first viewing experiences. That is why the storytelling and dramaturgy must be clear, simple, slow-paced, and easy to understand. We also have a responsibility to treat this young audience with care.
