Director’s statement
The film Bon Appétit, Mr Wolf! is an adaptation of Marta Guśniowska's bestselling book. It is a road comedy about the friendship between a young Bunny and an old Wolf. They set off on a journey together, during which they learn from each other about different approaches to life and the passing of time. This funny comedy speaks to children about important matters in a language suited to them and in a way they can understand. This is the greatest strength of both the film and the original literary work. In making the film, we sought to preserve the beautiful spirit of the book, which children and parents in Poland have come to love.
