Director’s statement
The world and mindset of preschool-aged children are truly unique and wonderful. While some aspects of their lives have become routine, they also encounter many things for the very first time at this age, discovering a great deal along the way. It is characteristic of them to express such genuine joy and enthusiasm for even the most mundane phenomena, and to offer charmingly naive explanations for how the world works. I wanted to craft this series so that our young audience would feel that these stories are directly about them – that they are speaking straight to them.
