Alma & Kory

Alma & Kory is a show about the power of friendship and the value of community. Through comic, heartfelt and action-packed situations, our episodes explore themes of acceptance, social-emotional learning and how new perspectives can enrich even the most established traditions.2 Alma is a wild, adventure-loving little girl. Kory is a sweet, clumsy giant longing for a home. Together, they form a wildly funny duo whose friendship grows deeper with every challenge they face.

Director’s statement
Our series is a slapstick comedy for kids with a lot of heart. Through physical gags and strong character moments, we naturally explore the acceptance of difference. We want to show our young audience that being different isn't something to fear, but simply a normal part of our communities.

To make this work on a global scale, we are developing the scripts with British screenwriter Steve Middleton. His experience in children's television ensures the humour will translate across borders. Ultimately, our strategy is to build a strong IP—a relatable, funny world with real international commercial potential.
