With a strong will that cannot be bound by a wheelchair, Ah Cheung brings people with impairments closer to the community.
Ah Cheung has been severely disabled since he was born. When he was a kid, he was left alone on the floor and had to compete with the mice who came for his food. When he felt lonely, he talked to them like talking to a friend. Living on a wheelchair all his life, he overcame poverty, becoming an advocate and career trainer for the disabled people. He has many peculiar stories in his life journey. During the pandemic, he insisted on speaking up for his peers until his death. He left an unfinished project – to establish a library run by people with impairments for all people in the society.
