Zorana Mušikić, born in Germany to Yugoslav immigrants, holds a master’s in media studies, philosophy, and visual arts, and a diploma in photography. She began her career in 1998 as a directing intern on Goran Paskaljević’s “Cabaret Balkan”. Her credits include producing James Benning’s “Ruhr” (2009) and Firas Khoury’s award-winning “Maradona’s Legs” (2019). In 2022, she co-founded Mayana Films, co-producing bold new voices such as “A Useful Ghost” (2025) and “Aisha Can’t Fly Away” (2025).
