After getting a screenwriting BA degree in Lithuania (LMTA) Vykintas Labanauskas studied animation in France (Ecole MoPA) and since 2018 is working on personal and collaborative film projects as director, animator, story artist and screenwriter. His directorial debut stop motion short film Grandma’s pancakes was nominated for the Lithuanian film awards 2020 “Silver crane” in the best animated film category.
