Trond Jacobsen, director, producer and co-founder of Bivrost Film. Since 1995 he has directed feature films, animation and fiction TV-series for children.
As a producer and cinematographer of documentaries he has done both investigative journalism films, documentary series for children and Ilze Burkovska Jacobsens personal films portraying Latvian history and society trough strong characters – the last one “My Favorite War” won the Contrechamp award in Annecy 2020 as well as other prizes. His greatest achievement as a director is winning an International Emmy Award for the animated children series about sexual abuse “My body belongs to Me”, together with the Norwegian national broadcaster NRK Super.
