Tina Ohnmacht

Dr. Tina Ohnmacht joined the Master of Arts in Animation at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Lucerne (Department Design, Film, and Art) as a lecturer and the co-ordinator in 2022.

Tina has over 20 years of experience in teaching, supporting student projects, and developing courses at various universities. At Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg’s Animationsinstitut from 2002 till 2022, her tasks included the coordination of the curriculum, supervision of student projects, teaching history and theory of animation, and she was in charge of internationalization. As Head of Studies, she co-developed and ran the German part of the international programme “Animation Sans Frontières” from 2009 till 2022. For the FMX conference, Tina functioned as curator and host. In 2022, Tina received her PhD (summa cum laude) from the University of Tübingen with a thesis on Water in Animation Films (published in German at Schüren Verlag).
