Sybil Marzin is a French writer and filmmaker. She graduated from the animation EMCA school in Angoulême (France) in 2021. In 2019, she won the French Institute's prize for the best animated short film at the festival "La Semaine du son" (Paris, France) with Dissonance, co-directed by Aurore Muller-Feuga. In July 2020, she self-published her first book "Le Mal de Mer des Parapluies en fleurs", a collection of poems and illustrations. In September 2021, she entered a writing residency for one year at the Maison des auteurs to develop her project of animated short film "Georgeta".
