Salvatore Di Paola

He is from Borgo Nuovo, a neighborhood on the outskirts of Palermo. Since 2019, he has worked at Just Maria as a creative (and occasional coffee runner). He cofounded “Basaricò,” writing and directing animated projects. In 2023, he won the Young Lions award in Cannes. That same year he cofounded Megadrago, an animation studio dedicated to films and series where he writes, directs and animates a comedy series for Amazon Prime Video. Since 2021, he has toured Italy with his stand-up comedy shows.
