SAHRA MANI is a multi-award-winning filmmaker. Her work as a director and photographer focuses on human rights, equality, and justice. Her first feature, A Thousand Girls Like Me, was screened at top film festivals like HotDocs, Sheffield and IDFA. It won over 25 awards worldwide and inspired change for women's rights in her region. Her second feature, Bread and Roses, offers a powerful look at the seismic impact of women's living conditions and rights after Kabul falls to the Taliban in 2021.
